Just got word from my brother that his dog Riley has passed away via a vehicle hitting her. Very saddening as she was just out in the yard watching us tend the chickens and watch my brother push back the snow banks at the mouth our driveway and our neighbors driveway. She wandered off to another neighbors home a mile away...which was totally unusual. She will be missed as she was a beautiful loving irish setter that was freindly to all.

Sorry for your loss, that is my worry for my dog. He always runs to the road. He is on a leash mostly now. My mom used to raise Irish setters , they are beautiful dogs. A little high strung as all hunting dogs. Losing a dog is losing a family member and it's not easy :(

R.I.P. Riley. She will leave a big hole in life for quite some time.
