With Trump getting the coal mines up and running again, do you think it will drop the price of coal any for us?

My take is that if the worldwide demand for steel goes up, anthracite prices will go up. If steel demand remains depressed, anthracite prices will remain low.

Nope, in fact, along with other factors, if this new $40.00 per ton carbon tax idea sticks EVERYTHING you use and eat is going to go up fairly dramatically.

in the case of coal, $135.00 a ton bulk anthracite nut will go up by just over 33% even if all other elated costs remain static.

if you intend to continue this coal based home economy I suggest you buy as much as you can as soon as you can.

then find and if nec. personally rebuild the most eff. heater for your application.

close up as many leaks in the envelope and add as much insulation as possible.
