Very much the same story here, the EFM can handle the load, but I like the stove and it's radiant warmth. Plus it's always good to have multiple heating options.

So when "actually" does winter re-arrive? I'm sure this warm spell is temporary. If not, I know a certain ground hog, that needs to be served on a dinner plate, for lying to us.

Some nasty thunderstorms are just west of us now, and we should be rocking and rolling before too long. 73 degrees for the high today, and sometime tomorrow it's supposed to snow.

Your going to get what I just had. I promised to send it east! :) I was 50-60 degrees for 4 days before it hit. About 12 inches so far.

It showed up at my place some time last night. 0 this morning with a stiff breeze. Supposed to be -1 with 10-15 mph winds tonight! No snow and nowhere to hide.

It's crazy, tomorrow night will be 8° here. Coldest night of the year for us.

Under a 6"to 8" snow advisory here until 9:00 pm. I thought the weather service was crazy, because up until a few moments ago it was sunny outside. Now it's suddenly coming down pretty good.

I'm tired of you babies whining about a little winter. Where are the Tug Hill crowd... now that is mans country. A video of Freddie taking the Mitsubishi for a morning drive could be entertaining. Even a pic of FFs horses could amuse me but of course nada. Geez, I hate winter. I'm getting the Garnet reved up, looks like a bitchy couple of days. At least that will keep me amused.

Two nights into the teens coming up for us here. All the bulbs, buds, etc that came out in the 70* temps last week will get freezer burned. I guess I jinxed it by dethatching, seeding, liming and fertilizing the lawn last weekend. This will make a small dent in the coal bin stash. Back to the seasonal (for us) mid 50's & low 60's next week.

Right ? I like having four seasons, just not jammed all into one week.

Last year there was a freeze with the apple blossoms out already. No apples...
