Does the screen go into the bottom of the pot, and do the beans sit on top of it? Did you make the screen yourself?

Yes,yes (helps keep them from burning), and yes well kinda, I bought the perforated SS screen then I cut and bent the feet to fit.
As you can see the roast is somewhat even, not a perfect roast but not bad, some of the beans are a little over roasted but not at the oily stage yet.
