No control wire from house to timer. Thermostat in house calls for heat and opens valves for boiler water to circulate heat thru exchangers in duct work. Boiler is 110' from huose in separate building, all controls for it are there

I am a fan of the Hydrostat units, but since your boiler just maintains a set temperature without any link to the controls in the house, nearly any aquastat would work just fine.
A Honeywell L8124 or L7224u would work well, or you could even use a pair (one to control the temperature, one for a high limit control) of L4006A aquastats.
